2017 CAR COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE
The Car Council holds its monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month starting at 7:30 pm,
alternating between Omaha and Lincoln as follows – many come early for dinner prior to the meeting:

LINCOLN –  January 18th, March 15th, May 17th, July 19th, September 20th, November 15th
Lincoln meetings are held at the Pizza Ranch, 8420 Lexington Ave
(new location - between Leighton and Holdrege Streets on 84th Street).

OMAHA –  February 15th, April 19th, June 21st, August 16th, October 18th, December 20th
Omaha meetings are held at the Tangier Shriners Center, 2823 S. 84th St. (84th & Center)
*Hamburger Night at the Tangier Shrine from 5:30-7:00 pm

Visitors are welcome: those wishing to address or present to the Council are asked to contact the President at
least one day prior to meeting to be placed on agenda.

OUR MISSION

  • To serve all member clubs and their individual members in a spirit of cooperation and fraternity.

  • To encourage the acquisition, restoration, preservation, and maintenance of collectible old and
    special interest automobiles.

  • To serve as a clearing house for historical and technical information beneficial to and required by
    member clubs.

  • To support sound and protective legislation and regulatory actions. To defend vigorously the rights
    and privileges of the old car and the special interest hobbies to use of the public highways, byways,
    and streets. To protect and assure sound licensing provisions in State Laws and local ordinances.

  • To publicize our hobby: to bring favorable public reaction to bear upon the hobby, and to make
    legislative authorities and the general public aware of the existence of the hobby and the intrinsic
    value of preserving a part of automotive history.  

  • To perform such other promotional and community service programs as will reflect to the credit and
    success of the automotive hobby.
